1. What is personal data and what is the processing of personal data?

Personal data is any kind of information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a natural person who is alive. Encrypted data and various types of electronic identities (eg IP numbers) are personal data if they can be linked to natural persons.

Processing personal data means everything that we do with personal data. Every action done with personal data is called processing, whether it is performed automatically or not. Examples of common treatments are collection, registration, organization, structuring, storage, processing, transfer, and deletion.

2. Who is responsible for the personal data we collect?

3. What personal information do we collect about you as a customer and why?

When purchasing from Hälsa

Hälsa will process the personal information that you have provided to us or that we collect on the Website through cookies in order to identify you as a customer and to manage your purchases and to fulfill our commitments to you as a customer. The personal information that Hälsa processes about you as a customer is name, email address, order history, delivery address, telephone number.

Storage takes place until the purchase has been completed (including delivery and payment) and for a time about the duration of the guarantee in order to be able to handle any complaints and guarantee matters.

When participating in competitions and events

Hälsa sometimes conducts competitions, events and draws of products or other value documents. In order for you to be able to participate and to manage your participation, we need to be able to communicate before, during and after the event. E.g. it is about confirming that we have received your answer and to be able to appoint a winner and convey a possible profit. In order to fulfill the legitimate interest, we need your name, your contact information and information about your competition entries or participation.

We only store your information during the time of the competition / event (including any evaluation).

For complaints or warranty cases

If you should be in need of advertising or conducting a warranty case, we need your purchase information such as name, social security number, contact details, time of purchase information and place of purchase. We will also need to collect what is wrong with your product as well as technical information about your product. In these cases, we will process this information in order to answer your questions, by phone, email or digital channels such as social media and our chat. We will also need to identify that you as the customer have purchased the bed.

The treatment is necessary to fulfill our obligations in your contact to create a case. Your data is stored as long as the case is ongoing.

General reasons

We have a number of legal obligations to us as companies such as the Accounting Act, the Money Laundering Act or the rules on product liability and product safety. These laws must be met and it may require that we process your information in order to contact you as a customer, or that legal requirements, court or authority require information from us. What is being processed then is your purchase information, name, social security number, payment history and information that can be linked to your purchase.

This collection of your personal data is required by law. If the information is not provided, our legal obligation cannot be fulfilled and we are therefore forced to deny you the purchase. However, we do not store the data longer than necessary under the respective law.

4. From what sources do we retrieve your personal data?

You need to submit information to us in order for us to complete your purchase or interest. We also collect information about and based on your purchases and how you use our services. We may also need to collect personal data from someone else (so-called third party). The information we collect from third parties is as follows:

1) Address information from public records to be sure we have the right address information for you.
2) Credit rating information from credit rating agencies, banks or information companies.

5. Who can we share your personal information with?

In cases where it is necessary for us to be able to offer our services, we share your personal information with companies that are so-called. personal data assistants for us. A personal data assistant is a company that processes the information on our behalf and according to our instructions. We have personal data assistants who help us with:
1) Transport of purchased products (logistics companies and freight forwarders).
2) Payment solutions for purchases (card-redeeming companies, banks and other payment service providers).
3) Marketing if possible. newsletters (print and distribution, social media, advertising agencies).
4) IT services (companies that handle the necessary operations, technical support and maintenance of our IT solutions).
When your personal data is shared with the personal data assistants, it is done only for purposes that are compatible with the purposes for which we have collected the information (for example, in order to fulfill our obligations under the purchase agreement or the loyalty program’s membership conditions). We check all personal data assistants to ensure that they can provide adequate guarantees regarding the security and confidentiality of personal data. We have written agreements with all personal data assistants through which they guarantee the security of the personal data processed and undertake to comply with our security requirements as well as restrictions and requirements regarding international transfer of personal data.

6. How long do we store your personal data?

We will never store your personal data for longer than is necessary for each purpose.
You can read more about the respective purposes above under the section “What personal information do we collect about you as a customer and why?”.

7. What rights do you have as registered?

You have several rights as a customer, as long as we are not required to process your information in order to fulfill our obligations.

Right of access (so-called register extract)

If you want to know what personal data we process about you, you can request access to the data (the information is provided in the form of a register extract indicating the purpose, categories of personal data, categories of recipients, storage periods, information about where the information was collected and the existence of automated decision making).
When we receive a request, we may ask for additional information to ensure the efficient handling of your request and that the information is provided to the right person.

Right to correction

You can request that your personal data be corrected if the information is incorrect. Within the scope of the stated purpose, you also have the right to supplement any incomplete personal data.

Right to delete

You can request the deletion of the personal data we process about you if:
• The data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it has been collected or processed.
• You object to a balance of interest we have made based on legitimate interest and your reason for objection weighs more heavily than our legitimate interest.
• You object to treatment for direct marketing purposes.
• Personal data is processed illegally.
• Personal data must be deleted in order to fulfill a legal obligation to which we are subject.
• Personal data has been collected about a child (under 13) for whom you have parental responsibility.
In some cases, we have the right to deny your request if there are legal obligations that prevent us from immediately deleting certain personal information. These obligations come from accounting and tax legislation, banking and money laundering legislation, but also from consumer law legislation.

8. How do we handle social security numbers?

2) Durable cookies (cookies that remain on your computer until you remove them or they expire).

4) Third-party cookies (cookies set by a third-party website. For us, these are used primarily for analysis, such as Google Analytics.)

The cookies we use usually improve the services we offer. Some of our services require cookies to work properly, while others improve the services for you. Hälsa does not use cookies to store personal information about you. Permanent cookies are used to store the Customer’s personal settings at Hälsa. Session cookies are mainly used for the purpose of processing the Customer’s purchases.

10. Can you control the use of cookies yourself?

By accepting this policy or by using the Hälsa website, you consent to the processing of cookies as stated here. If you do not accept the use of cookies, you can turn cookies off in your browser’s security settings. You can also set your browser so that you get a query every time Hälsa’s website tries to place a cookie on your computer. The browser can also delete previously stored cookies, see the browser’s help pages for more information. You can delete cookies manually from your hard drive at any time.

11. How is your personal data protected?
